Gary Rea (pronounced RAY) was born in 1952 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Gary is a self-taught artist. He earned a BA in Graphic Design from the University of Central Oklahoma.

In addition to painting, Gary is also an abstract sculptor and has experimented with virtual, or digital sculpture, as well. His digital sculptures were part of the Intersculpt 2005 international exhibition of virtual sculpture, sponsored by Ars Mathematica of Paris, France. His handmade pieces have ranged from creations in clay and wood to carved plastic foam.

Gary is available for commissioned works and seeks to work with art consultants, interior designers and architects for their art needs.
